Samantha Harrington doesn’t expect her trip to Rowan to see if their sisters have found happy ever after or something else to lead her to a man who captures her attention. The man is abrasive, broody and something about him is intriguing. She didn’t know what, and she was determined to figure out what it was. That is until she realizes that she miscalculated that getting close was foolish since she was leaving to go home while he stayed in Rowan.

Valentino Royal didn’t like social niceties. He was a loner and preferred his solitude. Yet from one meeting Samantha has captured his attention. With her he could be silent and work without having to be something he is not. That is additive and something he didn’t know if he could resist. Now he needed to figure out if this woman who makes him want things he didn’t think he did was an acceptable risk….

When you meet someone and it sparks something deep within you may just have to give into temptation…

Victoria Harrington didn’t come to Rowan to find her happy ever after. She came to rescue her sisters from the men who supposedly they fell in love with in such a short time and they wanted to marry. Sometimes the best-laid plans are derailed with one look as is the case when she meets Marcello. The man was temptation, and she wasn’t about to fall for him. That is if she could keep away from him. Which was becoming an impossible task as Marcello seems determined to get in her path. How is she to resist a man who awakens so much in her?

Marcello Royal wasn’t about to let the woman he met go. Victoria might have come for another reason but he was going to take the chance to convince her to stay for him. The woman was stubborn, sexy and right for him. Now he would need to convince her to take a chance on him and give into the fiery temptation.

When something unexpected happens it’s your choice if you will walk away or accept the necessary challenge …

Brandon Ferguson wasn’t used to being thrown by anyone. Yet the woman he meets unexpectedly does. Then when they run into each other again, he realizes she has gotten under his skin, and he wants to make her his. Yet she wasn’t so sure. It didn’t matter since he wasn’t one to give up easily.

Erica Lauer didn’t need the complication that Brandon brought but is unable to resist. The man looked innocent yet there was mischief in those eyes. They are tempting her, and she wasn’t one to resist or just give in. The conflicting feeling she had for the man was disconcerting.

Two determined people have to decide will they walk away or go for the necessary challenge…

Freebie Book ~ Snippet Series ~ Coming Soon

Posted on Monday, August 31, 2026 by Taige Crenshaw

The book is free at the time of this posting, if you are reading after that always double check if that has changed. There are times I will post the same thing again just to make sure in case you have not seen it you get your copy.

I’m excited to share with you…

A new series coming soon and it’ll be a freebie or freebies for you! 🙂

First a little history of a sort….

I’ve been writing Snippet’s for a long time. For more on what a Snippet is go here!

As I’ve been writing these I’ve always planned to combine them into a book…well a few books. 😉 These are part of my ongoing thanks and to show appreciation to readers. 🙂

So…I’m finally combining the various Snippet’s into a few different books. The series name will be Snippet. There’ll be…well various books which will be done based on the series/books the Snippet is done for. LOL. Since there’s so many there’s a few different books. Also for any books/series that’s co- written with my alter ego it’ll be a combined book.

The Snippet’s range in…

– posted before for events/guest posts
– posted before on my blog/site or so on.
– posted exclusively in my group only
– posted exclusively in newsletter only
– never before posted

Basically the Snippet’s are a mixture. 😉 Some you might have read before and others might be new to you. Many maybe new to you since I write these fairly often and I haven’t shared them anywhere. Until now (when I release the book/books).

Snippet are one of my happy things I love to do. Either way when I combine them into book/books you’ll get them. 🙂

To make it easier…well for me and for you. For now the plan is when I’ve gotten them together based on the series they’ll be the Snippet Series which includes the name of the series. Also inside will be the Snippet Serial name when applicable. So it’s well…easier. LOL. It will be noted together for ease of reading. 🙂

The Snippet Series and Snippet Serial is combined this way – in a book based on the series – so you can read based on which books/series that I’ve written you enjoy reading. 😉

In each book for the Snippet Series the Snippet Serial will go together as noted. If there’s any more Snippet’s written in future (ie after a new book is released or if I feel like writing about a book published) in those instances I’ll include it for easier readability in the book where applicable. So basically there’ll be updates as I write more Snippet’s as applicable.

I enjoy doing Snippet’s. It’s my sneaky way of continuing with the characters after their book ends. This is at my discretion and as time permits when I’ll add to Snippet. I usually use books/series that’s already been published. As more books are released from my various series I might write a Snippet for them also. 🙂 Then add to the book for the series it’s part of.

Since this is labor of love. It’ll take time for me to do this. I did want to share with you I’m doing this. Sort of a tease for you and something to look forward to. But…I don’t have a timeframe when the Snippet’s will be available. Also some series at this time doesn’t have enough books out. So not enough Snippet’s to get a book yet. 😉 So I’m working on series that do have books and Snippet’s so they can be a book. 🙂

Many of my most recent or current Snippet’s are posted to my newsletter subscribers. They get the Exclusive 1st read of the Snippet’s. There are times they get them before it’s posted anywhere else. Some of the Snippet’s are exclusive and aren’t posted anywhere else (sometimes…maybe years later I might release them but that doesn’t always happen). They are just for my newsletter subscribers and eventually…maybe in the Snippet book for whichever series it’s for.

To get the Exclusive 1st read of the Snippet and/or other exclusive things! Join Newsletter here –> http://bit.ly/taigenews.

I enjoy visiting with various characters and series. You can join me and enjoy also!

Be sure to look for the other Snippet’s. Eventually you can check my site and blog for my booklist for info on the Snippet series of books as they become available. I’ll be adding more at my discretion and time permits. By the way the series name for these overall for these will be Snippet and each book will have the name of the Snippet Series.

Once I start releasing the Snippet series I’ll let you all know! As mentioned it will take me time to do them. Tentatively I will have a release in the Snippet series before/by the end of this year ~ 2026!

Yay! I’m so excited about the upcoming Snippet series of books!

Want to know more about other freebies I have go here

Note: The books will be free. In the future at the discretion of the author that can change for any of the books.

There’s also the last day for the free Snippet for my 2026 birthday celebration I’ll be posting….later. Also you can let others know about this! So make sure to check back later for the Snippet that posts for that day of the 2026 Book Birthday On My Birthday Tradition as well as some other things I’ll be posting! 🙂 See you later! 😉

The instinct must be followed in order to achieve the ultimate pleasure.

Synda Rhames didn’t want to be in Legend Cove especially since being here she’d have to face her past. Yet she would for the good of her people. There had been too many lost already and she would sacrifice whatever was necessary. She would ask for sanctuary…not for her but for her clan. At least that was the plan…until she sensed him. From the first look she knew she had met her fate but couldn’t let anything but what she was there for matter. Too many lives depended on choices she made.

Jaden Legend knew all about obligations which makes you have to sacrifice. He also knew avoiding the inevitable isn’t the way to handle things. He’ll let this sassy, curvy stubborn warrior woman do what she must. But he’ll not let death have her. He was of the shadows and knew what was in the darkness. Jaden is more than ready to do whatever necessary.
