What is your favorite color?

I love all things is shades of peach, yellow, red, and white.

What is your favorite pastime?

I love to draw. I’m an avid seamstress. I can whip up an outfit quick if I have to go someplace special and have nothing to wear. I love to cook. I’m a voracious reader. My library in my house and on my computer is massive. That’s one of the first things you notice when you come to my house.

What music do you listen to?

I have eclectic taste and my music choices shift according to my mood. I can be listening to country and western one moment then listing to rock the next.

What is your favorite kind of movies?

 Musicals and drama’s.

What books do you like to read?

Like my music my reading is varied. I started reading romance and now I read anything as long as it has a great story. To name a few I love historical, romance all genres, sci-fi, and horror.

Who are your favorite authors?

Wow there are to many to name.

What do you do in your spare time?

I spend my spare time relaxing or with family and friends. We take in movies, shows, cook or just spend time talking. Time with those I care about is what I enjoy doing.

What are your favorite books on writing?

There are so many I can’t possibly name them.

Where do you get your ideas?

This can be answered in one simple word. Don’t. Yeah confused you huh.

I don’t because the characters talk to me and tell me how their story should be told. They have life, emotions and are real. If they aren’t real to me then how can I make it real to you the reader? We’ll I can’t so they are real. They bring me all they are and strip their lives for me to see to put on the page. Yeah they get all naked emotionally, physically and mentally. They walk in front of me, bring me into their lives, dreams and hopes so I can see it all and revel their stories to you.

The power of words are only as good as the reality behind it.

What is your favorite genre to write?

Actually my favorite is every genre I write in. No matter if it’s a hot contemporary, sizzling paranormal, nail biting mystery, etc.. I like them all.  The characters and plot is what drives me not the genre.

What are your favorite scenes to write?

Actually I have two.

When the sexual tension leads to passion. When the hero and heroine touch for the first time with the intention of being together. All the pent up desires and need spilling out and taking them to another deeper connection.

And the action scenes when they kick butt as needed. The movement and choreography  of them moving and shifting.

What advice can your give for an aspiring writer?

Read, Write, Read, Write. Write what you enjoy and then perfect it. Write each and everyday. Never give up no matter how many no’s you hear. Continue to read for pleasure. Think of it as a busman’s holiday. Then go back and write your story. Never give up.
