Today’s Snippet features characters from Silken Inferno, Phoenix Intelligence Agency, Book #2. Enjoy!

From time to time there’s multi-part Snippet’s that go together. I think of it as a Snippet Serial and I name them. The below Snippet Serial Infinity Extras features the books at the time I wrote these Snippet’s that were available in my Phoenix Intelligence Agency series. Eventually when books are released in the Phoenix Intelligence Agency series an Snippet might be written and if it is it will be added to the Infinity Extras Snippet Serial. So this Snippet Serialis a continuous one (at my discretion/time permits).

Infinity Extras is a multi-part Snippet Serial and best read in order for the most enjoyment. They are usually in order of the Phoenix Intelligence Agency series for which they are written about (unless otherwise noted).

Vaughn stood in the doorway and watched her. The beautiful choreographed fluidity of her movements made him enjoy the knowledge she was his. Allure moved with such grace, power and all the magnificence that made her her.

“Are you going to be a creeper and just stare at me?” Allure leapt up into a back kick connecting with the bag. “Or maybe give me a little thrill.” She looked at him challenge in her gaze.

As she continued to train using the bag Vaughn strolled into the room. Allure watched him while still executing the movements precisely.

“I could.” Vaughn rolled his shoulders. “But I have something else in mind.”

He held out his hand. Allure slowed down then stopped. She studied him with that enigmatic gaze before stepping forward then sliding her fingers along his. Staring into her eyes he kissed her fingers then lowered their hands. The trust she put in him by not asking humbled him. He led her out of the room. Silent Allure walked beside him. Soon he led them outside into the lush oasis of their backyard. Allure inhale deeply then he saw a smile curl her lips.

Unable to help himself Vaughn pulled her into his body holding her close. Their eyes met and the desire in hers he knew reflected in his. In that moment he changed the plan he had. With a thought he turned on the sound system. The music filled the air.

“Someone is trying to seduce me.” Allure chuckled softly. “You just might succeed if…”

“There’s something scrumptious involved.” Vaughn finished as she trailed off then he snorted. “Like I don’t know my woman. Although what I plan changed when we came outside. That part of the plan will be the same.”

As he said it the beautifully decorated table appeared. The scents of delicious foods filled the air. Allure pulled him closer. He moved with her dancing with her as daylight waned. Allure rested against him as they moved together. Their languid and sensual movements filled him with desire.

“Seduction hadn’t been part of the plan either but I’m flexible.” Vaughn pulled her firmly against his frame. “What I had planned is a far off memory. You tend to do that to me. Make me go against things I’ve planned.”

“And I love making you do things that are unplanned for.” Allure laughed wickedly. “The unplanned for can lead to so many great adventures. Together forever.”

“With you by my side I’m all in for the unplanned for.” Vaughn kissed her.
