*holding up a glass of champagne* Wheeee…onto today’s 2026 Book Birthday On My Birthday Tradition Snippet!!!

Today’s Snippet features characters from Sizzling Dare, Impulse, Book #1. Enjoy!

From time to time there’s multi-part Snippet’s that go together. I think of it as a Snippet Serial and I name them. The below Snippet Serial Phenomenon Objectives features the books at the time I wrote these Snippet’s that were available in my Impulse series. Eventually when books are released in the Impulse series an Snippet might be written and if it is it will be added to the Phenomenon Objectives Snippet Serial. So this Snippet Serialis a continuous one (at my discretion/time permits).

Phenomenon Objectives is a multi-part Snippet Serial and best read in order for the most enjoyment. They are usually in order of the Impulse series for which they are written about (unless otherwise noted).

This might be rough draft so excuse any typos and so on.

Tiana stepped into the room and inhaled sharply. Don’t freak out. Don’t freak out. Screw that I’m about to freak out.

“What the hell did you do to the kitchen?” Tiana glanced around the usually immaculate kitchen that was now a total mess.

“You did say you wanted to rearrange the kitchen.” Jameson kept doing what he was doing.

“I did but I meant for us to plan it out then do it.” Tiana put her hands on her hips then waved her hand around the room. “Not just do it randomly without any thought.”

“You were muttering and planning without getting anywhere.” Jameson paused glancing at her. “So I decided to instead of trying to figure out all the stuff. Just to get it done. As we do it will need to live with some mess for little bit but you be happy in the end.” He approached her then slid his arms around her waist. “Sometimes it’s fun to let go of your control and just go with things.”

“And you’re the master of making me lose my control and just go with things.” Tiana looked around the room again before taking a deep breath. “We’ve got this.”

“We sure do.” Jameson smiled. “I’ve also seen some stuff we need to replace. We need to buy some new things.” He pointed. “I’ve got a notebook over there so we can take some notes.”

“You’re so awesome. You know I was fretting about how to do our kitchen and with your usual way you got started. That way instead of me trying to manage everything and trying to plan it to the last thing we could just get it done.” Tiana hugged him. “You’re doing things like this makes us work so well together. I tend to over think things while you jump right in. We balance each other out.”

“We do.” Jameson kissed her on the forehead. “Going off the cuff is my super power. Now crank up the tunes and let’s get this kitchen rearrange going.”

Tiana laughed and went to the remote and started the system they had. She cued up their playlist and when it started she smiled. Jameson made her lose control in the best of ways. His off the cuff ways was one of the things that made her nuts and love him.
